Application Instructions

  1. Read through the entire application process before submitting your application. Please call or email us with any questions or concerns.
  2. Complete an application:
    • Online: Complete an online application and submit a $250 non-refundable deposit by credit card using PayPal, our secure online payment system. The deposit is applied to your program fee.
    • Mail or Fax: Download a printable application and mail or fax it with a $250 non-refundable deposit (check/money order) to Travel Alive. The deposit is applied to your program fee.
  3. Wait for our confirmation of your program travel dates and volunteer preferences before purchasing airline tickets. Upon confirmation, immediately start preparing your passport and immunizations, these can take 6 to 8 weeks to complete. We will send a detailed orientation handbook which will help you prepare for your program.
  4. Purchase your airline ticket and send a copy of your passport and travel itinerary to Travel Alive by email.
  5. Pay the balance of your Travel Alive program fee due sixty (60) days before your program start date or pay immediately upon confirmation if you are traveling in less than sixty (60) days.
  6. Start looking forward to your adventure!
